ONE® Mail Transition

ONE Mail Direct is a service provided by eHealth Ontario to create secure email accounts on the eHealth Ontario ONE Mail platform. OntarioMD.ca users have been able to request a ONE Mail account through OntarioMD.ca. The request was sent to eHealth Ontario and an account was created using the @ontariomd.ca domain. Currently, eHealth Ontario is upgrading their ONE Mail infrastructure. The upgraded version will not be able to support the creation of @ontariomd.ca accounts and the use of ONE Mail through OntarioMD.ca.

OntarioMD and eHealth Ontario are developing a plan for transitioning all existing users of OntarioMD ONE Mail Direct (username@ontariomd.ca) to eHealth Ontario's ONE Mail Direct (username@one-mail.on.ca).

To facilitate this transition, please be advised that:

1. OntarioMD is no longer creating new ONE Mail accounts. If you are interested in signing your organization up for ONE® Mail, please visit the eHealth Ontario website, download the ONE Mail questionnaire, found under Sign Up For ONE Mail, complete it and return it to onemailinfo@ehealthontario.on.ca. For additional support, contact the Service Desk/ONE® support at 1-866-250-1554 or servicedesk@ehealthontario.on.ca.
2. Existing physician users will no longer be able to sponsor their staff to give them access to ONE Mail through OntarioMD.ca. Sponsored users will be required to register for ONE Mail directly with eHealth Ontario.
3. For all existing users (physicians and their sponsored accounts), eHealth Ontario, with the help of OntarioMD, will develop a plan to migrate your ONE Mail account to eHealth Ontario. More information and instructions will be available on OntarioMD.ca and by email.
