OMD Luminary Award

Luminary Award Guidelines

The OntarioMD (OMD) Luminary Awards honour physicians/clinicians, clinic managers, or other clinic staff who have demonstrated leadership in the successful implementation and use of EMRs and digital/virtual health tools to benefit patients and ease administrative burden in their practices. These tireless digital health champions have persevered and overcome challenges to leverage digital health to complement the ways they practice, or helped other practices use digital health effectively. As “luminaries,” they serve as beacons of light, illuminating the importance of digital health to enhance patient care.

A crucial aspect of a Luminary Award nomination is a personal success story. It should be relevant, replicable and provide valuable insights to inspire physicians, clinicians, clinic managers and other staff to embrace the advantages of digital health.
