Accessing Provincial Digital Health Services From Your EMR

Seamless, Time-Saving Access

Physicians need quick and easy access to patient data. While your EMR provides a lot of patient information, you may need to view data from outside your EMR for a comprehensive view of a patient's health. This can take time and disrupt workflows.

This is why OntarioMD (OMD), working alongside our digital health partners, has consolidated access to outside sources of patient data – all from your EMR.

Which Provincial Digital Health Services are Included?

The current services accessible through OMD-certified EMRs are:

• Cancer Care Ontario Screening Activity Report
• ClinicalConnect
• eForms
• Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTNhub) eConsult

Access to digital health services from your EMR will be updated as more become available.

How Do You Access These Services?

These services are only accessible through OMD-certified EMRs. To access them from your OMD-certified EMR, you need:

• ONE® ID credentials from Ontario Health
• Access to Digital Health Drug Repository (DHDR) (user agreement already in place)
• User agreements with provincial digital health services (with assistance from your OntarioMD Advisor)
